The Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), Government of Jammu and Kashmir, has announced the launch of the ‘Frames of Transformation’ Photography Contest, inviting passionate photographers to capture the essence of J&K’s progress, culture, and natural beauty through their lenses.
The contest calls upon professionals and amateurs alike to submit entries that highlight five transformative themes:
1. Infrastructure Development
2. Human Development
3. Tourism
4. Cultural Heritage
5. Wild Wonders of J&K
With the tagline “Splendor Awaits Your Lens,” this initiative aims to showcase the evolving landscape of Jammu and Kashmir while recognizing local talent through attractive cash prizes.
Exciting Prizes to Be Won:
1st Prize: ₹50,000 (1 winner)
2nd Prize: ₹10,000 (5 winners)
3rd Prize: ₹5,000 (20 winners)
Consolation Prize: ₹1,000 (100 winners)

Guidelines & Evaluation:
Photographs should be original and high-quality, clearly reflecting one of the specified themes. Entries will be judged based on creativity, visual impact, and relevance to the theme. DIPR reserves the right to use submitted content for promotional and outreach purposes with due credit to the photographer.
This contest serves as a platform for visual storytellers to contribute to the narrative of a transforming Jammu and Kashmir, amplifying its rich heritage and dynamic progress.
