Jammu | May 30, 2025:
The Higher Education Department of Jammu and Kashmir has officially announced summer vacations for Government Degree Colleges across both Jammu and Kashmir divisions.
According to Government Order No: 261-JK (HE) of 2025, dated May 30, 2025, the vacation schedule is divided based on climatic zones:
1. Jammu Division (Summer Zone):
🔹 Vacation Duration: June 1 to July 15, 2025
2. Jammu Division (Winter Zone):
🔹 Vacation Duration: July 15 to July 24, 2025
3. Kashmir Division:
🔹 Vacation Duration: July 15 to July 24, 2025
This decision was signed by Shantmanu, IAS, Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), and communicated to all relevant educational and administrative authorities.
The order ensures a uniform break for students and faculty to rejuvenate before the next academic schedule begins.
